We
use a dedicated mail server for sending out our mail. You can see the gateway page for our new server at
www.newsorg.info.
A dedicated server is
necessary since some Internet service providers like AOL
block e-mails from dynamic mail servers (the ones that most commercial
services use that have multiple users) and most online services are
much slower and limit the number of outgoing e-mails, since 100-200 people use the same server.
The
dedicated server also allows you to create a private
e-mail account with a forward to your regular e-mail. Choose among newsorg.info,
netorg.us, netlinks.biz, and ccnet.biz (i.e: john.smith@netorg.us, johns@netlinks.biz, etc.) Your e-mail goes out under this name and is forwarded directly to your own e-mail.
