August 2008

Welcome to the Songwriting Connection.   We are almost 4 years old since launching the service in October 2004.  We now have  offices in L.A. in Santa Monica and in Oakland and shift everyday operations between these offices.

Our database contains 400 music publishers, 650 record labels, and 400 agents and managers, and you can reach most by e-mail

We now have contacts in all genres, including country, pop, rock, gospel, folk, urban, world, and other types of music.  We recently completed our bi-annual database update.

Our current press release is posted on our PR & Media page.  Plus read about our latest success story - an international connection in which a songwriter from Taiwan teamed up with musicians and producers in California, the UK, and Canada to create a worldwide success.

Last year, our own mailing to music publishers, record labels, and music agents resulted in over 70 requests for songs and  finding a song plugger based in Nashville for our own songs -- Chris J. Keaton of Keaton Music Ventures.

In addition, we have started developing videos for our songs and can help you create your own video.  You can see videos for three of our songs if you click the following links:
     - Do You Look Like Your Dog?  (based on the book, game,
            and Website at www.doyoulooklikeyourdog.com)
      - What Kind of Dog Are You? (based on the book and Website
             at www.whatkindofdogareyou.com)
      - I Sure Wish a Man Could Be More Like a Dog (just for fun)
