Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D., Director, Changemakers Publishing, Songworks, and Cal Literary.

Gini Graham Scott is a songwriter as well as a nonfiction writer who has published over 50 books and hundreds of articles.  Her seven latest books were sold as the result of an e-query, including Do You Look Like Your Dog published by Broadway Books/Random House and Homicide by the Rich and Famous.  Homicide was sold to Greenwood Press as a hardback and paperback rights were sold to Berkley Books, published the paperback in September 2006.

Gini Scott has written over 100 songs, which are demoed at www.songworks.net.  Half were previously published by a dozen independent publishing companies.  While she specializes in writing lyrics, she wrote the music for about half of the songs.  These songs are now being represented by Chris J. Keaton of Keaton Music Ventures in Nashville. 

She has her own publishing company, Changemakers Publishing, which acts as a co-publisher with other music publishers on some songs.  The company is a member of the Country Music Association and West Coast Songwriters Association.

Gini Scott is also a speaker, workshop/seminar leader, and organizational consultant to business, government, and non-profit organizations. One of her scripts RICH AND DEAD, a cop/action/mystery thriller, is under option to MegaProductions, which is seeking investors.  Most recently, she has set up a production company Changemakers Productions, which is packaging three low-budget films with an award winning producer: FLARE UP, NEW IDENTITY, and UNBALANCED, with filming planned for Spring 2008.

Her column on relationships in the workplace were in a dozen papers and were expanded into a book A SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR WORKING WITH HUMANS published by AMACOM in 2004.  A follow-up book, A SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR WORKING WITH BAD BOSSES was published November 2005; A SURVIVAL GUIDE TO MANAGING EMPLOYEES FROM HELL was published in November 2006.  WHEN I GROW UP, I'D LIKE TO BE A STURGEON, about the writing mistakes kids make, was published by Sasquatch Press in September 2006.  A new book 30 DAYS TO A MORE POWERFUL MEMORY and DISAGREEMENTS, DISPUTES, AND ALL-OUT WAR were published by AMACOM in 2007.

She has been a featured guest on hundreds of TV and radio programs, including Oprah, Montel Williams, the O’Reilly Factor, CNN, and many others. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School, and M.A.s in Anthropology and Mass Communictions and Organizational, Consumer, and Audience Behavior from California State University, East Bay.
